Expertly made in Ireland with high-quality Sterling Silver, this highly detailed design is a great example of Irish craftsmanship.
St Brigid is one of Ireland’s patron saints and the St. Brigid’s Cross can still be found in many Irish homes as they are believed to bring good luck and prevent fires. St. Brigid’s crosses were traditionally woven from rushes or straw and even today young children are still taught how to weave the crosses in school. Examples of these crosses are still displayed to this day in Molly Gallivan’s cottage.
This lovely pendant is presented on a 16” chain in a jewellery box
